Hi, I'm Annie, a copywriter, content writer, and ghostwriter based in Sydney, Australia.

I write content, copy, digital strategy, and more for entrepreneurs, founders, and business owners.

Can ChatGPT do all that too? Of course. But breathe life into it? Give your reader or customer ‘the feels’, make it human? Not yet.

I bring over twenty-five years’ commercial experience – including account and project management, partnerships, direct marketing, and PR across startup, media, agency, retail, and not-for-profit – to my freelance work.

Words come naturally to me. And even when they don’t, I make it look like they do. I care about the difference between their and there; it’s and its; your and you’re. Errant apostrophes drive me wild.

Above all, I have a passion for and a deep understanding of how to effectively communicate your story.

If I need a new language to do business with you, I’ll upskill in my own time. I’m currently fluent in G Suite, MS Office, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Raisley, WordPress, and a stack of other apps and social media planning tools.

In my spare time I’m a reader, writer, and editor/publisher at Midlife Slices; slow-cooker, ocean swimmer, and adventurer with my dogs, two spirited West Highland White Terriers, Archie and Angus.

Your needs are unique to your business, so my costs will vary accordingly. A 500-word blog will cost less than a 1500-word opinion piece you want pitched to industry media. A basic 5-page website will cost less than an 80-page e-commerce platform. Ongoing work is better value than a one-off project. You get the idea!

ChatGPT is awesome, but its limitations are evident – incorrect information (no fact-checking), bias (based only on what’s available online until 2021), lack of human insight/personality, and verbosity (words for words’ sake, my Kryptonite).
